The School of Foreign Language and Culture Communication held the first Youth Language luncheon

At noon on March 10, the first Qingyu luncheon for teachers and students of the School of Foreign Language and Culture Communication was held at 305, Building 15. the theme of the luncheon was the development of young friends. Mr. Gu Xiankai, Party Secretary of the Party Committee and Mr. Yu Ping, Vice President of the Institute, were invited as guests to have lunch with the students to chat about the experience and understanding of the development of young friends. Participants at this luncheon will be students of all grades and disciplines of the College.

Teachers and students had in-depth exchanges on education system, personal ability development and other aspects. After this luncheon, the students have a new understanding of the development of the university and the life plan for the future.

Liu Helong said, The most impressive thing about this lunch meeting is the lively atmosphere. Secretary Gu, President Yu and all of our students talked from their hometown to the campus, from study to life, and they talked freely and shared their own experiences and problems in their study and life. As for the issues we mentioned, such as campus activities and professional development, Party Secretary Gu and President Yu were extremely concerned about the problems from the perspective of students and the college, and gave me a sense of kindness from the elders.

Student Wang Liang said, After this luncheon, I feel most honored to have the opportunity to have in-depth exchanges with teachers and students of the Institute, in addition to the sumptuous meals provided by the Institute. In the process, we all introduced to the teachers and students their own situation and ideas of the recent stage, not only received the careful guidance of the two teachers, but also caused a lot of resonance between the students. While teachers continue to expand on some topics, they also guide us to think more deeply, subliming the simple topic into a grand conversation. The suggestions and ideas of the teachers and the experiences and feedback of the students have made the lunch meeting more meaningful and truly fulfill the theme of hearing the voices of young people. Let me feel from the bottom of my heart: To come to the'Qingyu'luncheon is worth it!

In fact, in my sophomore year, I was a little confused and flustered, feeling that the knowledge to learn, the certificates to be tested, and the work to be done were a lot. Even knowledge that is not currently involved may play a significant role someday in the future. As a result, I am more and more greedy for knowledge, want to learn more and more things, the pressure also increases, but the final grade point is not satisfactory, which is somewhat lost. I had the pleasure of attending the luncheon of the teachers and students of Youth Language. In a leisurely and pleasant atmosphere, I gradually opened my heart and joined in the pleasant discussion. I was inspired by the heartfelt sharing of experience between my elder sister and my teachers, and understood that I should know what to choose and what to aim for. Although the reason is very simple, but we always forget their original intention in busy. This lunch helped me get back to my original intention and my goal more firmly. I hope I can develop better in the future.

Zhang Jinwen said, What impressed me most during the lunch meeting was a student who registered for the Southeast University graduate program, and his ideas about the good and bad subjects inspired me greatly. On the question of the current situation of learning, students and teachers constantly rub the spark of thought collision. The two teachers answered our questions in great depth. In the less than two hours, I just entered the university for a short period of time, a freshman to college life and graduate planning for a more profound thinking. Overall, it was a rewarding experience.
