The Annual Conference of Postgraduate Education and the Round Table Forum for Training Translators in the Yangtze River Delta Region was held in our University

    December 3, under the guidance of the National Postgraduate Education Steering Committee for Translation Majors and under the auspices of the Shanghai Postgraduate Education Steering Committee for Translation Majors. Shanghai Polytechnic University School of Foreign Language and Culture Communication and Shanghai Foreign Language Audiovisual Press co-organized the 2023 Shanghai Translation Professional Degree Postgraduate Education Annual Conference and Roundtable Forum on Training Translators in the Yangtze River Delta Region Open.

Based on the comprehensive advantages of excellence in engineering, interdisciplinary integration and close integration of production, learning and research, we will steadily promote the postgraduate education and cultivation of translation talents. We will make joint efforts to cultivate high-level, multi-disciplinary talents for international communication and translation, and make due contributions to the construction of a discourse system that integrates China and foreign countries and the promotion of the international influence of Chinese discourse.

    Chai Mingjiong, chairman of the Postgraduate Education Steering Committee of Shanghai Translation Degree, and Pan Yan, director of the Information Infrastructure Management Division of Shanghai Economic and Information Commission, attended the opening ceremony and delivered welcoming speeches.
