The EU Erasmus + University Teacher Capacity Improvement Project Concluding Meeting and the Opening Ceremony of the Teacher Development Centre was held successfully

    On the morning of December 15, the closing meeting of the Erasmus + University Teacher Ability Improvement Project and the opening ceremony of the Teacher Development Center were held in Building No. 15, 400. Qiao Liqing, Party Secretary of the School of Economics and Management, Zhang Jun, Executive President of the School of Vocational and Technical Teacher Education, Gu Xiankai, Party Secretary of the School of Foreign Language and Culture Communication, and Zheng Peyun, President of the School.     As the project leader, Qiao Liqing first gave an overall introduction to the EU Erasmus + University Teacher Capacity Improvement Project. The EU Erasmus + University Teacher Capacity Improvement Project - Developing Future-oriented Academic Courses with Innovative Approaches for the New Generation of Asian University Teachers is the year of 2019 for the University of China and universities from Poland, Germany, Czech and Spain. The international project that 13 universities in seven countries, including India and Vietnam, successfully applied for together has been delayed for one year due to the epidemic, and the project has basically fulfilled its expected construction targets. The program introduces the latest graduate teaching achievements of universities in Germany and Spain, and helps professional teachers improve their teaching theory and practice in the form of teacher training. at present, the program is receiving the internationally recognized ACUQUIN certification. After passing the certification, all the teachers and students who participate in the future training of the project can obtain the official certificate. After the successful conclusion of the project, it will serve as a sub-center of the school's teaching development center, and continuously contribute to the high-quality development of the school's teaching capacity improvement and graduate education.

    As one of the key components of the Erasmus + University Teacher Ability Improvement Project, the Center of Teaching Excellence is an important base for the operation of the Project. Hu Zhen, a member of the project team, gave a detailed introduction to the construction, organizational structure, functional advantages, training resources and early use of the Center. She pointed out that the Center, jointly funded by the University and the EU project responsible unit, not only served the teaching and research of the Foreign Language Institute, but also provided strong software and hardware support for the smooth implementation of the project. she hoped that after the conclusion of the project, Cte can continue to play a role, playing a bigger role in talent development, social services and so on.

    Finally, Zhang Jun, on behalf of the Vocational and Technical Teacher Education Institute, congratulated the project team. She mentioned that five students had participated in the project as the first batch of trainees, and they had made great achievements. The representatives of graduate students were present to witness the inauguration of the Center, which was also intended to express their recognition of the project. I am in a new stage of high-quality development and hope that we can seize the opportunity to concentrate on our studies and strive to improve ourselves. The graduate students had a warm interaction with the leaders present and thanked the school for providing a platform that enabled them to have confidence in their future academic development.
